Hello everyone! Finally Yoga Evita has a home, well at least on the internet 🙂 My name is Eva and I am very happy we found each other!
Happy Yoga for Grown-Ups …
As some of you know, I am currently enrolled in my 200-hrs Vinyasa/Yin Yoga teacher training at Balanzs in Den Haag. And, yes, you can already take yoga classes with me (see here for events).
Because you know how they say: The best way to grow is to practice, practice, practice. That is why I am taking up every opportunity to learn from other teachers, observe, and gather first teaching experience.
The different styles of yoga are as diverse as snowflakes, yet they all aim at becoming one with our true nature: Connecting the body with mind, soul and spirit. That is why I love drawing my inspiration from different schools and teachers – Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga and even Kundalini. Experiencing what feels right in your own body instead of following strict rules.
Eventually, I want you to enjoy your practice. When you leave my class with a smile on your face, that is when I consider my job done 🙂
… AND KIDS!
Being a mum of two very lively daughters, I am experiencing how much children can gain from yoga, from the earliest age on. There is always a mat rolled out in our house and if I don’t practice on it, my kids will take over.
Earlier this year I completed my Kids Yoga teacher training with Cayetana Rodenas in Barcelona and a fun Wobbelyoga teacher workshop with Rianne Roodbeen in Amsterdam.
Teaching and practicing yoga with children is not only fun for the little yogis, but also a precious opportunity for families to connect in a natural and deep way. Find out about my upcoming kids yoga activities here.
Yogis and yoginis, young at heart: I’m looking forward to practice with you!
